May 6th – 10am to Noon - Any and all artists are invited to a “Creative Economies Convocation” at ARTStation on Manor Drive in the Village of Stone Mountain. Jack Sartain, founder of the DeKalb Council for the Arts, Inc. and facilitator of the project will describe how the Arts Incubator works and the financial and other benefits and advantages to the artists who participate. Starting March 10 through April, MMFS will offer a tune-learning class from 7 - 8:30 PM. These are for the advanced beginner to intermediate student who would like to build there repertoire for playing in traditional music sessions. All instruments and ages are welcome.
