Jazz vocalist Audrey Shakir has been mesmerizing audiences across the globe for more than 30 years and she'll bring her talents to The Rock Ranch in just a few weeks. Shakir, who's singing is reminiscent of the great Ella Fitzgerald, will perform in concert with her impressive quartet. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. on April 2 and doors will open at 7 p.m.
During her illustrious career, Shakir has performed with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Lionel Hampton, Pharoah Sanders and many more. Her performance venues are just as noteworthy as the artists the songbird has performed with. They include The Apollo Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Tavern on the Green, the Jazz and Blues Festival in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Festival de Fort-de-France in Martinique as well as the Atlanta Jazz Festival.
This date night experience will be held in "The Barn". "The Barn" is a brand new, climate-controlled facility at The Rock Ranch.
Reserved seating is available for only $16 per ticket or a table for 10 may be reserved for $150. A limited number of tables for two will also be available for $40 per table.
All seating will include a complimentary hors d'oeuvres buffet.
