Pianist Pedja Muzijevic To Be Soloist
Guest conductor Gilbert Varga will lead the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 with Pedja Muzijevic as soloist. Also on the program is Schubert’s Overture in C minor, Johann Strauss, Jr.’s Emperor Waltzes, and Richard Strauss’s Till Eulenspiegel. The concerts will take place March 3–5, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.
Mr. Muzijevic made his Atlanta Symphony Orchestra debut at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in summer 2009. These concerts mark his subscription debut with the Orchestra at Atlanta Symphony Hall.
