Local opera lovers will have a rare opportunity to hear aspiring young singers perform this coming Sunday, Jan. 31, in Clayton State University’s Spivey Hall.
The Metropolitan Opera will be holding its southeast national council auditions on Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. Admission is $35 for the chance to catch a rising star as singers from four states compete for the opportunity to sing on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. It’s an event no opera lover should miss.
